Hello Readers,
I’m so happy so to have you here again. Hope you are all doing fine? and even if you are feeling down, its going to get better, okay???…………
Okay!!!
I officially wish you a happy new month even though we are already 12 days into the month. My February was awesome and I’m sure March is going to be better. It does not matter how your month started, what matters right now is how its going to end because better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof (Ecclesiastes 7:8).
So, how was your februrary?, what happened in februrary?, how was our favourite valentine’s day?, Comment below.
Today, I am going to be giving you one of my favourite recipes.
Its a delicious recipe that I discovered two months ago and so I decided to share it.
I hope you are all so excited because what I will be sharing with you can be used as a fast breakfast or a snack and even for weight loss (I’m sure you’d be guessing what it is or you probably already know(the topic says it all).
Now, let me welcome (with all smiles and a round of applause)………………. my SMOOTHIE recipe!!!.
So, my fellow smoothie lovers or fellow foodies like me
Here we go…………
Smoothie, smoothie, smoothie, where art thou????………………….
Now, smoothies are drinks you get from blended raw fruits and vegetables. It is usually mixed with ice, water, dairy products and sweetners such as honey, etcetera. This is my favourite desert. In as much as it is refreshing and healthy, it can also be used for weight loss, to reduce symptoms associated with diabetes, some heart diseases and even cancer.
So, as you are engaging in physical exercise for weight loss, a glass of smoothie would not do you any bad and to think that it reduces symptoms of diabetes and heart diseases is so amazing.
Right now I am going to give you the procedure for the simple smoothie drink that I enjoy so much.
Step 1:
Buy your ingredients.
You could get any fruit of your choice (orange, apple, water-melon, banana, pineapple, lemon, lettuce e.t.c.) depending on your preferences and the quantity you need and wash before use. I’ll make use of only a few here which are my favourite.
Step 2:
Prepare the fruits for blending.
Remove seeds from your watermelon and oranges, dice your watermelon and pineapples, squeeze the orange juice out and slice your lettuce.
Step 3:
Blend, blend, blend!!!!
Place your ingredients in a blender and blend all your fruits together, adding the lettuce last.
Blend until it becomes smooth and creamy and
VOILAAA!!!!.
Your smoothie is ready for drinking and you could put some ice in your drink if you love cold drinks!!!!
Smoothies are very healthy and can be taken at any time of day, preferably in the morning or evening.
If you would love to shed some weight and still remain healthy,
GO GRAB YOUR FRUITS AND VEGGIES AND MAKE A GOOD DRINK.
So, I have come to the end of my smoothie post and I hope you all enjoyed it.
Tell me if you like smoothies and what type of smoothie you like (whether fruits-only smoothie or fruits-vegetables smoothies) or if you just prefer raw friuts and veggies. Comment in the box below.

Our family loves smoothies! We have them at least once a week. I don’t think we’ve ever used kale in one though. I will have to try this. Thanks for sharing!
