Hello lovelies!!!
It’s been a minute!
It’s mid-week already and I’m sure our week has been going well and yes, the year is almost ended and there is a whole lot to be grateful for.
In life, many people skip some things or don’t see them as things that we need to thank God for instead we complain about things we don’t have or disappointments here and there.
Well, I’ll be telling you 5 things I’m grateful for, I hope you are grateful for them too.
- Life:
People may say “isn’t it just to sleep and wake up?”.
Well it actually is but when a person sleeps and never wakes up, you’ll fully understand that life is a gift. When a person wakes up one morning and doesn’t make it till the end of the day, then you’ll appreciate this gift called life.
2. Family and friends:
Family:
They are the most amazing and of course most annoying people on earth. No matter the level of indifferences we face and new behaviours we find, we would always be family. Trust me, love has a way of quenching all wrongs.
Let’s appreciate our families and forgive wrongs, it goes a long way!.
They are the best and they usually want the best for us!
Friends:
So, these are the people you relate closely with that are not directly family, some later turn family though. They are the ones you can crack your dry jokes to over and over again and they just would listen to you chattering the same or different thing all over again.
Be grateful for friends. Show your friends some love today!.
Value your friends…they sometimes make sacrifices for us that we may know nothing about.
3. Salvation:
Without salvation, there would have been no point passing through life.
Salvation is the reason why we can say we have seen the light because Jesus is the light and He has set us free.
Be grateful for salvation for it was His grace that has saved us, not like we were worthy or are still worthy.
“dying, he destroyed our death,
Rising, he restored our life,
Lord Jesus, come in Glory!”
4. Psychology and acting:
I’m grateful that I officially became a psychologist and that that dramatic self is still there.
Be grateful about your career whether you are a lawyer, teacher, musician, doctor, pilot, full house wife, full-working house wife, blogger, actress etc for everything you have comes from God!.
5. Roses of Life:
I’m definitely grateful for my blog, you-my readers, my new blogging community, my second home!.
Readers and followers of this blog, you have been so awesome and have been my main motivation, else, I wouldn’t still been blogging by now.
Thank you so much everyone!!!
I started Roses of Life 9 months ago and you guys have been my support system…..Thanks a lot!
I love you!
P.S: There would be a give away coming soon, just to say Thank you!!!!. So, watch this space and subscribe to the blog, so that you don’t miss it!
So, that’s it!!!
I’ll leave you with this today
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
and
Philippians 4:8-9
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
State 5 things (or more) you are grateful for in the comment section below.
I’ll love to celebrate with you!
It could be a birthday or a wedding anniversary or a house warming or child dedication etc
Ladies and gentle men, let’s do a GRATITUDE CHALLENGE!!!.
I hope we are all excited.
For the next seven days, don’t wake up complaining, wake up thinking about what you are grateful for and thanking God for them….by this time next week, I would love to hear how it all went.
Who’s in?
You are, of course..
Before then,
Tell me in the comments section 5 things you are grateful for today!
Enele loves you!!!
Cheers till my next post!!!
Really enjoyed reading this.
I did a post just last week on 15 things I’m thankful for so I’ll drop the link. https://wp.me/p94Ztb-2D.

This is certainly a time of year when we focus on gratitude. I do find things to be grateful as often as possible. My kids creep into my bed at night and sometimes I feel like it’s annoying but when they cuddle close I remember that the day will come when it will end and I am grateful for all the cuddles!!

So much to be grateful for. I have a job, I have a house, I have a close family, I have running water and electricity in my house, I have a computer that can connect me to the entire world, I have a bed and for when I don’t need that I have easy access to coffee. I feel safe in my day to day life, I wasn’t born in a war zone. Clothes to keep me warm, i could go on, but my coffee is getting cold!

I loved this article! I, too, have so many things to be grateful for!! My parents are healthy and alive, I have found true love, I have an amazing dog, I am sane and healthy, I have a house and a few savings, I have few but true friends and I am lucky enough to do exactly what I love. Thanks for reminding me all this!

Seriously, this is really great! But in the Family aspect, I’m somehow still lacking, though they want the best for me but it’s somehow tough in that they finds it difficult to understand me!

Really nice article. Often times we find ourselves worrying too much instead of being grateful for the what we currently have. What a timely reminder. I shared something similar here:http://www.boldwinner.com/2017/01/one-reason-to-always-be-grateful.html
